For hosts in Rome
What it costs, and why
No subscription, no minimum term, no exclusivity: take the poster down tomorrow and you owe nobody anything. The paperwork is the cost we take on; the services are how it gets paid for. That is why the free tier is tied to a minimum — but a minimum of activity, not of turnover: it is enough that the code is on the wall and working, and a handful of requests a year proves it. And there is a real promotion, written into the contract: your first 12 months are free, no conditions. From the thirteenth, the free tier stays tied only to that minimum of activity — with notice, never retroactively: you will see it on your dashboard, and if the number is not green you will choose, a small fee or leaving before it becomes an obligation. Never a back-charge.
And half is yours
Every request carries a fixed platform fee, from 5 to 12 euro depending on the type of service, and half of it is yours. It is deliberately flat: not a percentage of the service price, and it does not change whether your guest books an 80-euro tour or a 400-euro one. That money never passes through us — it stays entirely with whoever carries the service out.
Your dashboard
A page of your own, with the numbers that matter to both of us: how many times the code was scanned, how many requests went out, how many landed, and what you have earned. At the top sits the little number that keeps it free: while it is green the affiliation costs you nothing — and every request beyond it is earnings. All without your guests' personal data, which stays between them and whoever serves them.
How it starts
- 1
You write to us
Two lines: how many apartments, where, how you register guests today. We tell you straight away whether you are in scope — Rome and Lazio — and what already works.
- 2
You connect your own accounts
Your police and regional accounts stay yours: the software uses them with your credentials, not ours. That is the difference between a tool and someone filing on your behalf, and we care about it.
- 3
You hang the code
A poster with your property's name, to put where the leaflet rack used to be. From then on it works by itself.
Who is behind this, said by us
Holiway is the services branch of DOLCE DOMUS SRLS, which also runs three of its own apartments in Rome. We would rather tell you than have you find it in a company search — and make two commitments that go in the contract, not in an FAQ.
- ✓The data passing through Holiway — your occupancy, your guests, your requests — is never used by our rental branch or by our pricing system.
- ✓The prices you publish are public by definition: the whole market sees them, us included. The commitment covers what is not public — and there it is total.
And the family connection, looked at properly, is the reason to trust it: this was built because we needed it, on three real apartments, with real guests and real deadlines. It is not a product designed at a desk by people who have never filled in a police form at eleven at night.
And if it doesn't work out
You take the poster down and disconnect your accounts. No notice period, no penalty, and your guests' data stays yours: you take it away in a file and we delete our copy. This holds even if your number was never green: we ask for no back-payments — the free affiliation simply ends, before any fee becomes an obligation. We write this here because an agreement is judged by how it ends, too.
Let's talk
We are at the beginning and we are looking for the first hosts in Rome. Write to us: we will tell you what already works and what is still missing, without selling you anything.
